About

I hail from urban New Jersey but reside in beautiful Western North Carolina. I live in the woods with my two cats, dog, and my wife who is my greatest love, inspiration, muse, and happiness. I enjoy creating pieces that are reminiscent of love, longing and remembrance. My jewelry is a practice in sacredness and joy, grief and wonder, passion and fullness, curiosity and exploration.

When I first started this public jewelry journey I adopted the name Folk Song Designs. Folk Song was the name of my grandparent’s gorgeous wooden sailboat that I got to enjoy during my childhood. Folk Song Designs was sparked out of a deep love and admiration for the ocean, history, craftsmanship, and adventure and for the undoubted and unparalleled power of jewelry to carry and hold a story.

As I've gotten a sense and feel for my own personal style I have decided to adopt a new name - Good Lover Designs. Good Lover sparked from many of the same ideals and emotions as Folk Song but I'm diving deeper into the Lover, passion, excitement, and commitment to exploration and boldness.

When I'm not making jewelry you can usually find me exploring back roads, wandering around the woods, making questionable kitchen concoctions, or taking my wife out on dates.
